Her first venture was modeling, however after she gained international recognition she was inspired to take on acting. Her acting career began on Baywatch Nights, a television show. Harmon also performs voice acting and performed voice-overs in the animated adaptation of the Batman Beyond Return of the Joker film. In the early 2000 Harmon decided to focus only on films and quit her work in television series.
