ndrea Lee, a rising LPGA Tour star, is emphasized by her maiden win at the Portland Classic of 2022. Andrea Lee was born on the 15th of August, 1998, in Los Angeles. James taught her how to golf as early as she was just 5 years old. As a young girl, she began to compete in tournaments, and within four years she was awarded 50 Junior championships. She made the cut in the 2013 US Women's Open, held at Pinehurst No. Her dad was her caddie, she was only fifteen when the event took place. Lee was requested by sponsors to compete at the year 2015 ANA Inspiration LPGA Tour, however, she was not able to make the cut. When she joined Stanford University in 2016 she was the highest-ranked player in its history during that period. In the ensuing three years, she won nine individual titles. Lee left Stanford University and turned pro in 2019. Her record as an amateur included 17 weeks in the World Amateur Golf Ranking. Lee completed her career as the best amateur, received an award called the Mark H. McCormack 2019 Medal. Lee scored four hole-in ones and one albatross while an amateur. Her debut year playing on the LPGA Tour, Lee had two top-10 results. She placed 7th in the AIG Women's Open in 2020 which was held on Kingsbarns Golf Links.
